Regional Planner - Ozarks Council of Local Governments
A full-time Regional Planner position is available at Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments located in Camdenton, Missouri. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Regional Planner is responsible for providing technical expertise to Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments’ member communities. This includes providing technical support in economic development, transportation, land use and environmental projects. Work may include but not limited to preparing regional and local studies, assisting in preparing grant applications for identified projects, administration of project grant funds, local community planning services, and other special projects, including GIS mapping applications. Salary based on experience up to $37,000/annually.

County Planner II- St. Charles County
St. Charles County is seeking a full-time county planner. The ideal applicant for this position will have experience managing planning-related projects, reviewing development plans for conformance with zoning and subdivision regulations, and some experience administering Federally-funded housing programs. The position will require a desire to serve in the public interest; strong interpersonal skills; an ability to work constructively both on small teams and within the larger organization; and excellent research, analysis, and writing skills. Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography or a related field with two years planning experience is required. A Master’s degree in Planning is preferred. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. AICP certification is desired. Starting salary is $48,064/year.

Planning & Zoning Officer - Bridgeton
The City of Bridgeton is accepting resumes for the position of Planning & Zoning Officer. Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, reviewing, processing, and presenting applications to the Planning & Zoning Commission, processing and reviewing applications to the City’s Board of Adjustment, managing applications for Community Development Block Grants, developing site-specific governing ordinances, presenting official interpretations of City Code, and administering, executing, and enforcing zoning and subdivision regulations. The Planning & Zoning Officer attends various City meetings, including some Board and Commission meetings, as well as City Council. AICP Certification required.

Planning & GIS Intern - Ozarks Transportation Organization
The Ozarks Transportation Organization (OTO), the MPO for the Springfield area, is seeking Planning and GIS interns. Interns will assist with the production of plans, maps and reports. Requirements include: conduct research, effectively present data and information in visual aid form, analyze and interpret information and translate information into computer graphics and databases, prepare and maintain accurate records, maps and reports. College coursework in the preparation of Comprehensive Plans and/or GIS applications is desired. Hours are flexible between 8a.m and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
