The Missouri Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (MOAAP) proudly represents over 1,100 physicians, trainees, and pediatric-provider members across the state of Missouri. United by a shared dedication to the well-being of children, MOAAP is a trusted advocate for the health and development of Missouri’s youngest residents.

Leadership and Community
MOAAP is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors and supported by numerous committees and work groups. These groups provide opportunities for members to engage in meaningful initiatives and contribute to advancing pediatric health care in Missouri. Our collaborative approach ensures that members can:

What We Do
MOAAP focuses on addressing the most pressing health issues facing Missouri’s children and youth, including:

- Advocating for child safety, equity, and access to care.
